The shadows are now seeping through cracks in the rune, forcing the three to decide their next move as Thorne extends an offer to guide them.

A remnant of Thorne appears inside the sphere, explaining he hid the sealing knowledge in her lost memory and offers it back for another price. Elara accepts and returns to the chamber to seal the gate, but Thorne, barely alive, interrupts, revealing the sealing will trap her in the stone forever. She must now choose between self-sacrifice or seeking another answer.

They choose each other, and the sphere halves are transformed into a new anchor, allowing them to live between realms. The story ends with them standing together under starlight, at peace.
