Chapter 19
Sunrise Over the Himalayas
A new dawn breaks over Nepal. Ramila and Aryan, hand in hand, face their future with a quiet strength, their love a beacon against the darkness they left behind.
The first rays of sun, shy at first, then bold, began to paint the jagged peaks of the Himalayas in hues of rose and gold. They spilled over the snow-capped giants, chasing away the last vestiges of night, much like the love that had found us, chasing away the shadows that had clung to us for so long. The brutal reality of Aryan’s world, the fear that had coiled in my stomach when I’d been taken, the agonizing choice he’d been forced to make – it all seemed so distant now, a harsh chapter closed. But the scars, though faded, remained, a testament to the trials that had forged us. They were the unseen threads that had woven us together, tighter and stronger than any gold or power.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Aryan’s voice was a low rumble, a sound that still sent a shiver of pure joy through me.
