The air, once thick with the acrid tang of dark magic, now hummed with a gentle, restorative breeze. Sunlight, filtered through the newly cleared skies, painted the village square in hues of gold and amber, chasing away the lingering shadows of the wizard’s reign. Around them, villagers emerged from their homes, their faces etched with a mixture of relief and wonder, blinking in the restored light as if waking from a long, terrible dream.
