Chapter 6

The Ocean's Secret

I revisit the dream in my mind, focusing on the ocean's futile attempts to quench the flames. It reinforces the idea that some things transcend natural limitations. The fire's persistence is its message – resilience, an inner strength I might possess. In the "burning bush" the fire was yellow and orange-reddish in color, God used this fire to speak to Moses about His compassion, His power and promise for the future. The bush was not consumed by the fire. The bush was not destroyed by the fire Exodus 3:2, but utilized to fully impact the life of Moses. To deliver a message to Moses and the children of Israel. Moses asked God for directions for his next step in the journey. God used the same Moses that fleed the scene as a murderer after killing an Egyptian. Moses took matters into his own hands, his heart betrayed him, he was not led by the spirit in his actions. Yet God still used Moses to free the children of Israel 40 years later. Here I am 40 years later seeking revelation of the recurring dream of "WHITE FIRE", wanting to bring my family out of captivity, out of bondage. I want to see God part the Red Sea for this family and my husband’s family.
