As Betty walked home from her and Billy's graduation ceremony, she gets attacked by a man named Lice who just wants to rob her dry. Billy attempts to fight Lice, but he is eventually overwhelmed. Though without hope and on the brink of defeat, he finds the strength to continue when he hears Betty's voice , reminding him of his dream to be the Ultimate hero. Unleashing his inner emotions in a rage, Billy mysteriously receives a black sword called the Sword of Slayers and used it to defeat Lice. A few days later, the siblings head out into the world, both seeking to become the Ultimate hero.
