The campaign gains traction, sparking curiosity and debate among the wider student body. More students begin to question the status quo and seek information.
The air in the cafeteria, usually a cacophony of clattering trays and boisterous chatter, seemed to hum with a new kind of energy. Alex, perched at a corner table with Samira, felt it vibrate through the worn linoleum floor. Their impromptu flyer campaign, born from hushed conversations in library stacks and hurried scribbles on scrap paper, was no longer a secret whisper. The stark, simple messages – "Do You Know Your Rights?" and "What Does 'Student' Really Mean?" – were plastered on bulletin boards, tucked into lockers, and even, Alex had seen with a thrill of nervous pride, taped to the outside of the principal's office door.
The ripples were spreading. Alex watched as groups of students, usually lost in their own social orbits, now clustered together, pointing at the flyers, their faces a mixture of confusion and intrigue. A knot of apprehension tightened in Alex’s stomach, but it was quickly overshadowed by a surge of exhilaration. This was it. This was the spark igniting the tinder.
"Look at them," Samira murmured, a wide, triumphant grin stretching across her face. "They’re actually reading them."
