Chapter 11
The Children's Discovery
While the adults bicker, Lina, Tomas, and Anya explore the edge of the village. They stumble upon an old, forgotten shelter, perhaps a place of refuge from storms past.

Lina, her brow furrowed in thought, tapped her pencil against the worn cover of her sketchbook. Tomas, ever the bundle of restless energy, bounced a smooth, grey stone against his palm. “Come on, Lina! Anya! Let’s go explore. Maybe we can find some lost treasure. Or a secret cave!” His eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, held a nervous glint. The arguments between his grandfather, Jonas, and Marek had grown louder in the past few days, echoing through the village like thunder before a storm. He wanted to escape, to find a place where the grown-ups’ angry words couldn't reach.
