The grand hall of Princess Palace shimmered, not just with the usual sparkle of enchanted dust and polished gems, but with a warm, contented glow. Sunlight, filtered through stained-glass windows depicting tales of bravery and kindness, painted dancing patterns on the marble floor. It was a day for remembering, for celebrating, for simply being. And at the heart of it all, gathered around a table laden with tiny, jewel-like cakes and steaming cups of fizzy dewdrop tea, were the four Mini Princesses: Sparkle, Glimmer, Twinkle, and Shimmer.

Sparkle, her tiara glinting with a particularly bright sapphire, tapped her foot impatiently, though her eyes held a soft, happy sparkle. "So," she began, her voice brimming with excitement, "after Lacey’s locket, and the missing moonpetal, and even helping that grumpy griffin find its mum, we’ve had quite the year, haven’t we?"

Glimmer, carefully arranging a cascade of edible flower petals on her cake, nodded shyly. "It has been rather… eventful," she murmured, her cheeks flushing a delicate rose pink. "I’m just so glad we always managed to help everyone."
