The Royal Talent Showcase
The kingdom holds a talent show! Each Mini Princess wants to share her gift. Sparkle plans a daring act, Glimmer creates a beautiful painting, Twinkle shares a fascinating story, and Shimmer performs a lively song and dance.
The air in Princess Palace buzzed with an excitement usually reserved for the annual Glitterberry Festival. Today, however, the cause for merriment was even grander: the Royal Talent Showcase! Banners fluttered from the highest turrets, shimmering with embroidered crowns and musical notes. A magnificent stage, adorned with cascading ribbons and twinkling fairy lights, had been erected in the grand courtyard.
Sparkle, her tiara practically vibrating with anticipation, bounced on the balls of her feet. "This is going to be the best talent show EVER!" she declared, her voice ringing with enthusiasm. "I've been practicing my daring aerial flip all week. It’s going to knock everyone’s socks off!"
Glimmer, her easel already set up beside a particularly lovely rose bush, smiled softly. "That sounds wonderful, Sparkle. I've been working on a new painting. It’s a landscape of the Whispering Woods at dawn. I hope everyone likes it." Her eyes, though, held a flicker of her usual shyness. "I just hope my colours are bright enough."
