The last rays of the sun, buttery and warm, painted streaks across the sky as Sarah zipped up the final suitcase. It was a bittersweet symphony of clicks and zips, each one a punctuation mark on the end of their magical summer. Lily, perched on the edge of her bed, her mermaid swimsuit now folded neatly, was meticulously wrapping her most prized treasures.
