“Sir Reginald,” Lily’s voice, sharp and clear as a struck bell, cut through the polite chatter. Sir Reginald, a man whose perpetually flustered expression seemed to be his default setting, scurried over, bowing so deeply his nose nearly brushed the embroidered hem of his tunic.
