The world rushed past me, a dizzying kaleidoscope of colors. Below, the greens and browns of the land blurred into streaks as I tumbled and spun. It wasn’t the peaceful, gentle drift I was used to; this was a wild, exhilarating dance. The wind, my old friend from the sky, had become a boisterous companion, swirling me this way and that. It tugged at my edges, coaxing me into loops and pirouettes, and I, Nimbus, the little cloud who dreamed of the sea, twirled with all my might.

I remembered Cirrus, her soft, contented sighs as she drifted. She would never understand this wild descent, this surrender to the forces that pulled me down. She was happy in her airy home, content to watch the world from afar. But I, I craved to feel it, to be a part of it. This dance with the wind was everything I had dreamed of, a thrilling prelude to the grand finale.
