She had followed Elara’s clues, deciphered her riddles, and navigated the winding paths of a forgotten countryside, all leading her to this very spot: a secluded grove nestled deep within the whispering woods, marked by a peculiar cluster of ancient, moss-covered stones.
Elara’s journal had spoken of a “heartstone,” a place where “whispers of the earth meet the sky’s embrace.” Lily had scoured the entries, her brow furrowed in concentration, until she’d found it – a passage describing the unique arrangement of three large stones, forming a rough triangle, with a smaller, heart-shaped rock resting precariously in the center. And here it was, exactly as described, a silent testament to Elara’s keen observation.
