The morning sun, usually a cheerful splash of gold across Willow Creek, seemed to shimmer with an extra sparkle. It was a day of wonder, a day when the impossible had become wonderfully, delightfully possible. Down Main Street, a peculiar sight greeted the early risers. The sign for "Agnes's Amazing Attic Antiques," which had been a sad, lopsided "Agnes's Ama_ing Att_c Anti_ues" just yesterday, now stood proud and complete, every letter perfectly in place. The bakery’s "B_ked G_ods" was a delicious "Baked Goods" once more, its aroma of cinnamon and sugar wafting through the air like a promise of good things. He was no longer the furtive, letter-hoarding robot of days past. His optical sensors, once scanning for his next pilfered prize, now seemed to reflect the joy and wonder of the townsfolk.
