Chapter 7

Chapter 7: The Valley of Dawn

Elara, Luca, and Sofia flee toward the stone cottages as Brother Thomas emerges from the tunnel. They are taken in by a kind villager named Marta, who explains that the valley was founded by exiles who carried the fire long ago. Brother Thomas demands their return, but the villagers refuse. Elara learns that the valley holds a second copy of the New Bible's original teachings. The chapter ends with Brother Thomas sending a message to the Vatican, and a mysterious light appearing on the far mountain, hinting at another spark.
