Chapter 5

The Postmark

Klarina examines the postcard more closely and discovers a faint return address in Elena's handwriting: a studio on Lighthouse Lane. She returns to Palanga, finds the studio now abandoned but meets an elderly artist who knew Elena. He gives her Elena's final journal, revealing that her mother had been searching for a way to return to Klarina. The chapter ends with Klarina reading the last entry, dated just before Elena's disappearance.

Her phone buzzed again. The same unknown number: "Look closer. The return address is in the corner."
