Building the Bouncy Dream
Workers, guided by Rufus's enthusiastic (and now organized) instructions, began building. The castle grew, colorful and inviting, promising endless fun and laughter for the kingdom.
The air in the royal courtyard buzzed with a new kind of energy, a cheerful hum that replaced the frantic clatter of King Rufus’s earlier panic. Gone were the frantic shouts and the bewildered stares. In their place, a symphony of hammers, saws, and happy chatter filled the morning. King Rufus, no longer clutching his empty treasury chest, stood tall, a blueprint clutched in one hand, a slightly less-smudged crown perched jauntily on his head. The wise old squirrel, Squeaky, perched on his shoulder, nibbling contentedly on a nut, occasionally chirping what sounded suspiciously like encouragement.
“Right then, chaps!” King Rufus boomed, his voice resonating with a newfound purpose. He wasn't just King Rufus anymore; he was King Rufus, the architect of airborne joy. “According to these rather excellent diagrams, the primary support beams need to be precisely… *this* long!” He gestured with the blueprint, nearly whacking a bewildered bricklayer.
Squeaky, ever the pragmatist, nudged the king’s ear. “Perhaps, Your Majesty, if you indicated the measurement with your finger, rather than the entire scroll, our industrious builders might have a clearer picture?”
