Plans for a Bouncy Kingdom
King Rufus announced his new plan: a giant, magnificent bouncy castle for all his people! Sir Reginald was confused, but the Royal Cook was excited. Squeaky just smiled knowingly.
King Rufus, a monarch whose heart had once been as solid and unyielding as a pile of gold coins, stood before his assembled subjects, a peculiar sparkle in his eye. It wasn't the glint of treasure this time, but something far more effervescent. He cleared his throat, a sound that usually heralded pronouncements of royal decrees or, more commonly, grumbles about misplaced socks. Today, however, his voice boomed with an unexpected glee.
"My dearest subjects!" he declared, his voice echoing across the sun-drenched courtyard. A hush fell over the crowd, a mixture of anticipation and mild apprehension. They had seen King Rufus panic, they had seen him chase after imaginary thieves, and they had even seen him accidentally trap himself in his own laundry basket. What grand, potentially disastrous, idea would he unveil now?
"For too long," King Rufus continued, puffing out his chest, "our kingdom has been… well, it's been a bit too grounded. We have magnificent castles, rolling hills, and the finest royal cook this side of the Whispering Woods, but what we lack is… bounce!"
