Climax
Drake 2, having absorbed the Silver, Cobalt and Copper powers, attacked the Saint siblings head on, forcing them to defend themselves. Meanwhile, the Blue Warriors continued fighting Drake 3. It swooped in and took Bella. Marianne used her Multitude powers to destroy Drake 3 with only one arm clap, demolishing the buildings near the explosion. They then relaxed for a few minutes and headed to Betty's group. Meanwhile, Betty used her Devils Spear again to transform again. She grew one devil wing, and two devil horns. Her devil power got intense. Kastor Campbell took this chance to use his Magnesium powers to slam Drake 4 into the ground, where Betty finished it with multiple shots by cutting it into a lot of pieces and blasting those pieces into dust. Betty felt like she is doing something wrong embracing this evil power in order to make her dream come true.
Drake 2, a monstrous fusion of shimmering silver, cobalt blue, and burnished copper, thrashed against the Saint siblings. Lincoln’s silver shards, once razor-sharp, skittered uselessly off its metallic hide. Battlax’s cobalt energy blasts, meant to shatter, were instead absorbed into the beast’s ever-shifting form. Miranda’s copper streams, vibrant and flowing, met a wall of defiant metal. The air vibrated with the clash of their powers, a desperate symphony against the backdrop of a city teetering on the brink of collapse.
Meanwhile, the Blue Warriors, Bella, Brittany, and Marianne, found themselves in a frantic aerial ballet with Drake 3. The colossal, moth-like creature, its wings beating a thunderous rhythm, swooped and clawed. Then, with a piercing shriek, Drake 3 snatched Captain Bella Williams from the chaotic skirmish, its talons digging into her uniform as it ascended. Marianne’s eyes blazed. In a singular, decisive clap of her hands, her multitude of powers erupted. The air detonated in a blinding flash, buildings imploded, and Drake 3, with Bella still clutched in its grasp, vanished into the inferno. The shockwave flattened everything in its wake. A heavy silence fell, punctuated by the distant wails of the city. With Bella seemingly safe, though undoubtedly disoriented, Marianne and Brittany shared a look of grim relief before turning their attention towards Betty's sector.
Betty, a tempest of conflicting emotions, felt the Devil’s Spear hum in her grasp. It was a dark, intoxicating promise of power, a shortcut to her dreams. With a sigh that felt heavy with regret, she grasped it again. A torrent of infernal energy surged through her, her form twisting and reforming. A single, ebony wing unfurled from her back, and two sharp, crimson horns pushed through her skin. The very air around her grew thick, charged with a palpable, malevolent energy. Kastor Campbell, observing this terrifying metamorphosis, seized his chance. His Magnesium powers flared, slamming Drake 4, the horse-like abomination, into the ground with bone-shattering force. Betty, her eyes now burning with a hellish light, didn't hesitate. With a flurry of precise, brutal strikes, she tore Drake 4 apart, its pieces scattering before dissolving into dust. But as victory settled, a cold dread seeped into Betty’s heart. This dark power, so potent, so effective, felt like a betrayal of the hero she yearned to be.
