The soft light filtering through the lace curtains was the first thing Sheraza registered, a gentle caress against her eyelids. It was a stark contrast to the oppressive, suffocating darkness that had been her constant companion for what felt like an eternity. She blinked, her vision slowly clearing, and found herself not in the fiery pits of Hell, but in a room that whispered of tranquility. The walls were a pale cream, adorned with intricate, hand-painted floral patterns. Books, bound in leather and cloth, lined a sturdy oak bookshelf, their spines hinting at untold stories. A small, polished wooden table held a single, delicate teacup, its porcelain cool to the touch.

A shiver traced its way down her spine, not of cold, but of unease. This was not the welcome she had anticipated. She sat up, the silken sheets cool against her skin, and swung her legs over the side of the bed. Her bare feet landed on a plush rug, its fibers soft and yielding. The air was subtly perfumed with the scent of lavender and something else… something wild and untamed, like a forest after a spring rain.

Hesitantly, she rose and made her way to the window. The view stole her breath. A garden bloomed outside, a riot of colors and scents. Roses, their petals unfurling in velvety shades of crimson and blush, climbed trellises woven with ivy. Forget-me-nots carpeted the ground in a sea of sapphire, while sunflowers, their faces turned towards the distant sun, stood like sentinels. It was a tapestry of life, vibrant and impossibly beautiful. Beyond the garden, a lake shimmered, its surface like polished obsidian, reflecting the azure sky. And in the distance, a forest, dense and verdant, beckoned with its mysteries.
