Chapter 6
The Pink House and the Shadow
The anomaly deposits them in a vibrant pink house. Here, they encounter Kitty: a three-meter-tall, light-absorbing shadow with eyes that pierce the gloom. An ominous presence awaits.
The world fractured, a violent rip in the fabric of existence. The air itself felt thick, sweet, cloying, like inhaling spun sugar. It was a stark, jarring contrast to the grime and decay of the arcade, and an even more unsettling departure from the sterile white room and the eternal yellow labyrinth.
“What… what is this place?” Inia whispered, her voice barely audible, tinged with a fear Akko hadn’t heard since their shared descent into the abyss.
