Chapter 15

Episode 15

3 min read

The air in the all-girls school was thick with a manufactured serenity, a stark contrast to the tempest that had raged within me. The hushed whispers of the other students, the rustle of starched uniforms, the phantom scent of lavender polish – it all felt like a carefully constructed illusion, a stage set to mask the rot beneath. I found solace in the library, losing myself in stories that offered an escape, a temporary reprieve from the relentless weight of my own reality.
