Despite Ross’s obnoxious laughter, Benio impresses everyone with her skill. Malik tells her about tryouts for the city team on Tuesday and offers to pick her up. The chapter ends with Benio alone on the field, determined to begin her journey.
2. 2BibaBenio wakes early and goes to the park to practice. Malik joins her and admits he can't shoot well. Benio coaches him on finishing, and he improves. They bond over shared backgrounds, and Malik gives her the nickname 'Biba.' Ross appears but backs down when challenged. Malik confirms he'll pick her up for tryouts the next day.

Ross appears and claims his uncle is the referee. Benio and Malik drill penalties and defending. They walk to the city field where Coach Kimura and the referee Mr. DeMarco are waiting. The one-on-one begins with Benio attacking first.
6. 6Chapter 6Benio dominates the one-on-one against Ross, winning five rounds to two. Ms. Tanaka offers her a spot on a girls' select academy team, but Benio refuses, stating she wants to play against everyone, not just girls. Ms. Tanaka respects the decision and leaves her card. Malik and Benio agree to keep training together. The chapter ends with Benio reaffirming her goal to be the best.
