Kenny faces the master's shadow entity descending on the Cradle. Using his father's guidance and new warden abilities, he attempts to banish it, but instead discovers the master is a fragmented echo of the first Keeper, corrupted by loneliness. Kenny chooses empathy over destruction, forging a tentative truce that reveals the master's true origin and a hidden path to healing his mother and restoring cosmic balance.
The shadow descended like a curtain drawn across the universe. Kenny stood at the heart of the Cradle, his golden light flickering against the encroaching darkness. Alistair's spirit pulsed within the shard at his belt, a steady, warm presence.
"It's beautiful in a terrible way," Kenny whispered, watching the shadow's form shift and writhe. It had no defined shape—just a mass of endless night, punctuated by eyes that glowed like dying embers. Those eyes fixed on him, and Kenny felt their weight, ancient and patient.
The shadow spoke, and its voice was not a sound but a pressure against his soul. "Little warden. You have taken what was mine."
