The Light of Home
Kenny emerges from the Crystal Throne to reunite with his crew and his mother Serena, but the prison core begins to destabilize. As Kenny prepares to sacrifice himself as the new warden, his father Alistair arrives, revealing he has been awake and guiding him all along. Alistair takes on the warden role, allowing Kenny to return to his family and crew, setting up a new journey to heal his mother and explore the cosmos.
The light of the Crystal Throne dimmed as Kenny stepped out into the vast chamber. The golden energy that had swirled around him now settled into a gentle hum, like a second heartbeat. The real Vexara walked beside him, her chains gone, her eyes clear. She placed a hand on his shoulder, and for the first time in a century, she smiled.
"You did well, young warden," she said. "The splinter is gone. The prison holds. But there is much to do."
Kenny nodded, but his mind was elsewhere. "My mother. I need to see her."
