Captain Zoomie hints that Seamus’s treasures aren't just gold; they often hold a touch of magic, a secret that might be more important than the coins themselves. This revelation adds a new layer of mystery to their quest.
Captain Zoomie’s bushy white eyebrows practically shot up into his hairline. He peered closer at the cookie, the one Dottie had so enthusiastically, if somewhat messily, presented. The icing, a swirling emerald green, wasn’t just decoration. There, almost hidden beneath a dusting of edible glitter, was a tiny, impossibly delicate pattern. It was a knot, intricately woven, with a minuscule shamrock at its heart.
“Well, I’ll be,” Captain Zoomie rumbled, his voice a low growl that vibrated with a sudden, unexpected excitement. He tapped a gnarled finger against the cookie. “This pattern… I’ve seen it before!”
