Chapters

1. 1Chapter 1The author describes being back and forth between 101 West 130th Street and 4430 Rolling Hill Drive, a two-year coma from 1992 to 1994, hiding from a chiropractor who gave them raisins, and always being with their father despite confusion.
2. 2Chapter 2The narrator recalls being with their father, the chiropractor giving raisins, and the confusion of being back and forth between two addresses.
3. 4Chapter 4The narrator remembers being with their nephew Davud, hiding in a closet, and putting their eyebrow. They recall a friend from Mexico with an extra finger, Halloween, and someone named Kwipn being born. They went to 28th Street for clothes, and someone told them not to tell anyone about twin data.

• A wonder

  I grew up in the heart of Alberton, Gauteng. The world was big, mine were small, from my bedroom to the house, garden full of fruit and flowers. It was new, it was a mystery and it was me I see the wild strawberries and banana trees in the garden.
