A New Dawn on the Water
The dreamscape changes. The storm clouds part, revealing a serene ocean bathed in the soft, radiant glow of the white fire. It burns gently now, a peaceful, constant presence on the horizon of my consciousness.

The usual tempest, the furious churning of waves and the shrieking wind, seemed to have receded. Not entirely gone, mind you, but muted, like a distant echo of a storm that had raged and finally exhausted itself. I found myself, as I often did, adrift on the vast expanse of the ocean. The sky above was no longer a bruised, angry purple, but a soft, pearlescent grey, hinting at the imminent arrival of dawn. And then, there it was. The white fire.
