The air in the Grand Conclave Hall always held a peculiar stillness, a charged silence that spoke volumes before a single word was uttered. It was a tangible thing, woven from the anxieties and ambitions of the four great clans who convened here once a month, a neutral island carved from the very heart of the swirling turquoise sea. Shulk, leader of the Dagger Clan, stood at the head of his delegation, his gaze sweeping over the assembled representatives. The polished obsidian floor reflected the intricate carvings on the high arched ceiling, each depicting a scene of ancient unity or, more often, conflict.
