The air in the Obsidian Hall of Lunara was thick with the scent of ancient stone and simmering resentment. Queen Lyra, a figure carved from midnight and tempered by starlight, stood before her assembled court, her voice a low hum that vibrated with the echoes of ages past. The recent skirmish, a mere flicker at the border but a conflagration in the eyes of Lunara, had served as kindling for the embers of her long-held animosity.

"My people," she began, her gaze sweeping across the somber faces of her lords and ladies, "we have once again been reminded of the perfidy of Solara. Their sun-kissed blades, ever eager to spill our moon-kissed blood, have dared to trespass upon our sacred grounds." A collective murmur rippled through the hall, a chorus of agreement born from generations of ingrained distrust.

Lyra’s eyes, like twin pools of obsidian, held a spark that mirrored the flickering torches lining the hall. "They come with their blinding light, their arrogant pronouncements of superiority, believing that their warmth can melt our resolve. But they forget, they always forget, that even the brightest sun casts shadows, and in those shadows, we find our strength."
