The radiant princess, usually a beacon of gentle light, now stood with a quiet defiance that seemed to absorb the very heat of his wrath. Beside him, Queen Lyra of Lunara, a silhouette of obsidian and moonlight, mirrored his outrage, her eyes, like chips of frozen night, narrowed with a potent blend of disbelief and venom.

"You have shamed us, Elara!" Theron's voice boomed, each syllable a hammer blow against the hushed reverence of the hall. His hands, usually steady, clenched and unclenched at his sides. "To consort with the… the shadow-dwellers? To even *consider* their poisoned offerings? This is a betrayal of the highest order!"

Elara met his furious glare, her chin held high. "Father, I have not betrayed Solara. I have sought to understand. To heal." Her voice, though softer than his, carried a resonance that momentarily silenced the tempest within him.
