Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Following the violent expulsion of the crucifix, Father Michael acknowledges the profound power of the entity and warns of a prolonged struggle. Elara, fueled by a protective instinct, decides to actively participate in confronting the presence. Aunt Carol, though shaken, remains resolute in her support. Father Michael, adapting his approach, decides on a more direct confrontation, preparing for a lengthy ritual. During the extended cleansing, the entity unleashes intense phenomena, including a chilling, disembodied whisper directed at Elara and a violent shaking of the house. Despite the overwhelming resistance, Father Michael perseveres, his faith tested but not broken, while Elara grapples with her own fear and burgeoning resilience, realizing her role extends beyond mere victim to an active participant in understanding the presence.
