Anya’s gaze flickered to the pulsating crimson light at the center of the altar, a vortex of raw power that mirrored the gate itself. This was the focal point, the anchor Silas needed to disrupt the Weaver’s hold. Around her, the alien landscape writhed. Twisted, phosphorescent flora pulsed with sickly light, and the guttural calls of unseen creatures echoed from the shadowed ravines. Every instinct screamed danger, but a more primal urge, the one forged in the crucible of her past failures, urged her forward. She wouldn’t let this place, this *thing*, claim another victim, or worse, bleed into her world unchecked.

“Keep going, Silas,” she gritted out, her voice tight. “Just… keep going.” Sweat beaded on her forehead, not from exertion, but from the sheer, oppressive weight of this dimension. The crimson light pulsed faster, and the ground beneath her feet trembled.
