Elara sat on the cool stone bench, a half-finished sketchpad resting on her lap, her gaze drifting towards Liam. He was by the fountain, his brow furrowed in concentration as he worked on a small clay figurine, his hands moving with a practiced grace that Elara found endlessly fascinating. The afternoon sun caught the dust motes dancing around him, turning them into a halo of golden light.
