This was the Ancient Guardian, the architect of the elemental void, and its voice, when it finally spoke, was less a sound and more a resonance within their very souls.
“You seek to undo what must be,” the Guardian’s voice echoed, not in their ears, but in the hollow spaces of their minds. But you do not see the precipice upon which it teetered.”
