The air hummed, not with the frantic thrum of unraveling threads, but with a deep, resonant peace. Elara stood on the highest peak of the Silver Peaks, the wind a gentle caress against her cheek, carrying the sweet scent of pine and the distant murmur of a world breathing easy once more. Below, the valleys, once fractured and torn, were now a tapestry of vibrant greens and blues, laced with rivers that flowed with a newfound clarity. The sky was an impossible, boundless azure, a stark contrast to the bruised, swirling greys that had been its constant companion for too long.

It was over. The Shadow Weaver was gone, banished back into the silence from which it had tried to pull everything. The world, so close to being silenced forever, now sang. And Elara, her heart a quiet ache of exhaustion and profound relief, knew she was a part of that song.

Beside her, Kael adjusted the spectacles perched on his nose, his gaze sweeping across the newly formed landscape. His usual scholarly reserve was softened by a look of awe, a rare sight that brought a gentle smile to Elara’s lips.
