The trailer, it used to be a place. A place for whatever happened, whatever was happening. Now, it’s just… a memory. A faded photograph of a life that feels like it belonged to someone else. The walls, they don’t just have eyes anymore. They’ve seen it all, absorbed it all, and now they are *me*. Or rather, I am them. The boundaries have blurred, the edges frayed until there’s nothing left but a single, unbroken night.

It wasn’t a quick switch, not like flipping a light. It was more like a slow seep, a stain spreading from the edges inward. The faces, they were just the beginning. The initial shock, the raw terror that made my teeth chatter and my vision blur. I thought that was the peak, the climax of the horror. I was wrong. So terribly wrong. That was just the prologue, the unsettling introduction to a narrative that would consume my very soul.

After that night, sleep offered no refuge. It became a battlefield, a canvas where those monstrous visages painted their nightmares anew. Twisted features, skin like stretched parchment pulled taut over bone, eyes that burned with an ancient, malevolent hunger. They’d contort, writhe, and whisper promises of power, of understanding the dark currents that flowed beneath the mundane surface of the world. And I, broken and terrified, began to listen.
