The air in the observatory hummed, not with the usual gentle thrum of celestial machinery, but with a nervous, electric tension. Outside, the Stardust Bloom had intensified, painting the night sky in feverish strokes of amethyst and emerald. Inside, under the watchful eye of Lyra, Elara felt a tremor of both terror and exhilaration course through her. This was it. The culmination of whispers and theories, of secret hopes and burgeoning courage.

Lyra, her face illuminated by the soft glow of a crystal orb, looked every bit the celestial queen Elara had always imagined. Her brow was furrowed in concentration, but there was a new softness in her gaze as she met Elara’s. "Are you ready, Elara?" Her voice was a low murmur, a balm against the storm brewing both within and without.

Elara nodded, her heart hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird. She clutched the smooth, cool surface of the stardust vial Lyra had given her. It shimmered with an internal light, a miniature galaxy captured in glass. "As I'll ever be," she managed, her voice a little breathy.
