The little red light on the camera blinked, a tiny beacon in the dim glow of Darius’s bedroom. He leaned closer, a nervous excitement buzzing in his chest. This was it. The second video. The one after the first, shaky attempt that had garnered a handful of views, mostly from his mom and Jannik. He’d poured his heart into it, bouncing ideas off Jannik until the early hours of the morning, sketching out shot lists on crumpled notebook paper. Now, the moment of truth.

“Okay, deep breaths,” Darius muttered to himself, his voice a low hum in the quiet room. He adjusted the webcam, making sure his face was framed just right. He’d spent ages choosing the background, a carefully curated shelf of his favorite books and a few quirky action figures. It felt… professional. Or at least, as professional as he could make it in his own space.

“Hey everyone, and welcome back to… well, welcome back to EIMEX!” he began, a wide, slightly forced smile plastered on his face.
