The cool night air, usually a balm against the day’s quiet anxieties, now felt charged, electric, as Lila stood on her balcony. The invitation hung in the air between her and the neighboring balcony, a silken thread woven with anticipation and a tremor of something wilder. Sophie’s voice, a melody laced with a captivating husky timbre, had followed, her eyes, dark and luminous, fixed on Lila. “We’re taking you somewhere special. A place where boundaries don’t exist unless you want them to.”
