This was it. The final hurdle.

The Guardian’s voice, if it could be called that, was a symphony of rustling leaves, crashing waves, and the distant cry of a hawk. It wasn’t a sound that entered my ears, but rather one that vibrated through my very bones. *“You seek the New Beginning,”* it resonated, a question and a pronouncement all at once. *“What is it you truly wish to find?”*

My heart hammered against my ribs. A place. A home. A purpose. The words tumbled through my thoughts, a chaotic jumble of longing. But I knew, with a certainty that settled deep within my gut, that simply saying what I wanted wouldn’t be enough. Elara had taught me that. The map had shown me that. This was a test.
