Chapter 5
Nick's Gambit, Brittany's Riddle

This place can be a bit… treacherous.”
Bret, ever the cynic, had merely grunted, his gaze fixed on some distant point, as if already dissecting Nick’s motives. Holly, however, felt a prickle of unease. Nick’s concern felt performative, a carefully constructed facade. And the observatory… it called to her, a silent siren song of unanswered questions.
