2. 2The Well and the WhisperErzvilkas and Dzeze investigate the disappearance of the man who went to the well. They find no physical evidence, but Dzeze's camera captures a faint whisper on playback. The town's fear deepens as another man vanishes. Erzvilkas decides to walk the forest trail at dusk, and at the edge of the trees he hears the Voice clearly for the first time, promising that the cleansing is not yet complete.
3. 3The Lantern in the DarkDzeze waits through the night at the forest's edge. Erzvilkas does not return. At dawn she searches the trail and finds only a single lantern. Back in town, she reviews her recordings and discovers a pattern: the whisper always precedes a disappearance by exactly one hour. She warns the women, but another man vanishes from the locked mill. Dzeze resolves to enter the forest herself at dusk, determined to find Erzvilkas and the truth.
4. 4Chapter 4: The Hollow and the EchoDzeze walks deeper into the forest, following the whisper. She finds a small cabin with signs of recent occupation and a note from Erzvilkas directing her to an old mine. At the mine entrance, she hears multiple voices. She enters and finds Erzvilkas alive but bound, and the Voice reveals itself as a woman with a radio transmitter.
5. 5Chapter 5: The GatheringErzvilkas and Dzeze return to town and share the truth about the Voice with the waiting women. As dawn approaches, they organize a search of the collapsed mine. Dzeze reviews her footage and notices a crucial detail: the woman mentioned a second location. Before they can act, a faint whisper drifts from the forest, suggesting the Voice may not be silenced after all.
6. 6The Second PlaceDzeze and Erzvilkas follow the whisper to an abandoned farmhouse on the ridge, where they find Ona and a group of women holding the missing men in a trance-like state. A confrontation leads to Ona's capture, the men are freed, and the town begins to heal. Dzeze completes her documentary, and Erzvilkas stays to help rebuild.
