Sweet Treats and Heroic Thanks
The party is a feast of delicious Valentine's treats: heart-shaped cookies, pink cupcakes, and steaming mugs of hot cocoa. Everyone gathers around Russo and Baby Bear, showering them with praise. 'You saved Valentine's Day!' exclaims Penelope. 'You're the best detectives ever!' adds Freddy. They all thank Captain Zoomie for his speedy assistance. Even Squeaky, munching happily on a cookie, chitters her thanks, feeling much better about her earlier collecting spree.
The air in the cozy den was thick with the sweet scent of celebration. Heart-shaped cookies, frosted in vibrant reds and pinks, sat piled high on a platter. Tiny cupcakes, adorned with edible glitter and delicate candy hearts, peeked out from a tiered stand. And in the center of it all, steaming gently, were mugs of the richest, creamiest hot cocoa any of them had ever tasted. It was the Spookyween Detective Agency’s Valentine’s Day Bash, and the mood was as warm and bubbly as the cocoa itself.
Penelope, her fluffy tail twitching with delight, nudged Russo with her nose. “This is the best party ever, Russo!” she exclaimed, her voice a happy squeak. “And it’s all thanks to you and Baby Bear!”
Freddy, a boisterous pup with a perpetually wagging tail, chimed in, “Yeah! You saved Valentine’s Day! If it wasn’t for the Spookyween Detective Agency, we’d have had a Valentine-less holiday!” He thumped Russo on the back, a little too enthusiastically, making Russo wobble slightly.
