Chapter 4
Elder Maeve's Forgotten Tale
Worried by the encroaching fog, Elara seeks answers from Elder Maeve. The wise elder shares a fragmented, ancient story of the 'Heart Weaver,' a legend of someone who could mend the world's fraying connections, hinting at a forgotten power.

Elder Maeve, her face a roadmap of kind wrinkles and wise eyes, sat by her hearth, her gnarled hands busy with mending a worn shawl. A single, flickering candle cast dancing shadows on the walls, illuminating shelves filled with dusty jars and bundles of dried herbs.
“Elder Maeve,” Elara’s voice was barely a whisper, laced with the anxiety that had become her constant companion. “The fog… it’s growing.”
