Jester — a charismatic performer whose smile is famous, but whose true thoughts remain hidden behind humor. Opening They think they know us. They know the usernames. They know the livestreams. They know the jokes, the emojis, the late-night conversations that happened in public. They think every smile means love. Every silence means anger. Every goodbye means forever. But people have always mistaken stories for truth. My name is Zyra. His name isn't really Jester. And this is the story no one ever saw. From there, the novel can shift between: Reality — online friendship, creative projects, different countries and cultures. Memory — Zyra's childhood in Lithuania, forests, Baltic Sea, pagan traditions, dreams. Magic — ravens that seem to deliver messages, the wind whispering names, moonlit forests where memories become real. Rumors — short chapters beginning with lines like, "They said..." followed by gossip, while the chapter reveals what actually happened. This structure would let the reader constantly question what's true, what's imagined, and how much of a person's life can ever be understood from the outside. It also keeps the focus on the emotional connection between Zyra and Jester without needing to define it by a single label.
