Here, amidst the rhythmic thud of gloves against pads and the grunts of effort, she found a different kind of peace. But it was a peace increasingly tainted by an insistent whisper, a voice that had become as familiar as her own heartbeat. Sora.
Sora’s presence was a tangible thing, a shimmering heat beside her as she sparred with Ji-woo. He was patient, his movements fluid and controlled, a stark counterpoint to Rosa’s own burgeoning ferocity. He’d become a steady anchor in her storm, offering quiet encouragement and a non-judgmental gaze that somehow saw past the fear and the anger that often consumed her. But even Ji-woo, with his calm demeanor, couldn't see the real instructor, the one who stood just beyond his peripheral vision, her spectral form radiating a savage impatience.
"Too slow, Rosa," Sora's voice, a silken blade, cut through the din. "He's anticipating your moves. You're telegraphing everything."
