Chapter 4
An Unlikely Alliance
Despite their different natures, Corvus and the wolf pups form a bond. Luna's eagerness, Ragnar's strength, and Willow's gentle intuition complement Corvus's wisdom, creating a unique team.
The wind, usually a playful companion to Corvus, now seemed to sigh with a mournful chill. He watched them, a flicker of something akin to kinship stirring within him. They were different, of course. Fur and feather, scent and sight. But they shared this wild home, this biting winter.
One of the pups, a female with bright, intelligent eyes, suddenly froze. Her ears twitched, and she lifted her head, sniffing the air. She looked directly at Corvus, her gaze unwavering. He felt a strange pull, a silent question passing between them. He ruffled his feathers, a nervous habit.
