Chapter 6
Evermore's Renewal
The Willow's restored magic washes over Evermore, bringing forth an era of peace and prosperity. The trolls, their threat diminished by the Willow's power, retreat. Elara, the Willow's champion, watches her village thrive.
The air in Evermore hummed. Elara stood at the edge of the central square, her hand resting on the rough bark of a young oak, feeling the gentle pulse beneath her fingertips. It was the Willow, she knew, its magic unfurling like a silken banner over their once-troubled home.

Elara had placed it there herself, guided by Flicker’s excited chirps and the Willow’s own silent, joyful hum. The transformation had been instantaneous, a wave of pure, unadulterated magic washing over the ancient tree and, in its wake, over Evermore.
Elder Maeve, her stooped shoulders unburdened by the weight of years and fear, stood beside Elara, her eyes, usually sharp with caution, now soft with wonder. “It’s… it’s more than I ever imagined,” she murmured, her voice thick with emotion. “More than the legends spoke of.”
