Elara blinked, the words settling into her mind like snowflakes. A cloud's song? She had heard the wind whistle through the eaves of her cottage, the gentle sigh of the breeze through the ancient oaks, but a song sung by a cloud itself? It seemed as impossible as reaching this very place. Around her, the Cloud Cats, creatures of pure white fluff and eyes like polished amethysts, stirred. Some stretched languidly, their forms elongating like wisps of smoke, while others batted playfully at the stray motes of light dancing in the air.
